Scholarship Information
Over the course of two-and-a-half days, the 34th annual UCLA Arrowhead Symposium sessions will explore how hosting mega-events, such as the Olympics or World Cup, present opportunities to transform host cities and create partnerships across organizers, government, and the civic sector to build a lasting legacy.
- What lessons can we learn from cities that have hosted mega-events in the past, including Los Angeles?
- What can be done to enhance transportation, placemaking, and community legacies from mega-events?
- We will explore these topics and much more!
As with previous events, we anticipate offering a limited number of scholarships to attend the 2024 Arrowhead Symposium thanks to funding from our sponsors.
In 2024, priority will go to those who are actively working to advance equity in transportation, placemaking, and community legacies in cities that are planning for mega-events.
