Outreach to Co-Powerment: Achieving Transportation Justice through Reparative Planning and Engagement
This fireside chat will cover themes like collective visioning and participatory planning with a critical power analysis. Through a series of guided questions and multimedia references, panelists will share perspectives and strategies for operationalizing engagement, moving from government governing the people to people governing the government, holding space for new voices and disenfranchised stakeholders, disrupting what we know to be the planning workforce, and incorporating justice as a decision making mechanism.
